2026 Theme: Folklore
Old tales, told
after dark.
This year's maze draws from the folklore of the valley — the stories told around the fire long before the corn was cut. Seven nights in October, 7–10 PM, with up to an hour of twists and turns before you see the gate again. Find us on Highway 32 in Orland, just west of Chico.

7–10 PM
Open 7:00 to 10:00 PM on all seven nights. If you're in line by 10, you're in.
The $5 daytime Corn Maze admission does not apply to the Haunted Corn Maze — this is a separate nighttime event with its own $15 admission.
What to expect
As you work your way through the dark maze, you'll get lost, cross paths with haunted scenes, scary props and live actors.
Come prepared
- No costumes, Halloween masks or face paint allowed (PPE is OK).
- A small flashlight is welcome, though not required.
- The maze path is packed soil — wear closed-toe shoes such as tennis shoes or hiking boots. We don't recommend flip flops, sandals or high heels.
- The maze can get muddy if it rains, so dress appropriately.
- The haunters will point you toward the exit path — believe them, they help keep traffic flowing. If you need assistance at any time, let a haunter know.
